Our commitment
The Municipality of Dumingag is committed to accessible public information and services. We aim to progressively align this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, while recognizing that accessibility requires continuing review, user feedback, and improvement.
This is a statement of commitment and current approach, not a formal claim that every page or third-party document fully conforms.
Measures we take
- Semantic page structure, descriptive page titles, visible keyboard focus, and a skip-to-content link.
- Responsive layouts, text alternatives for meaningful images, labeled form controls, and clear error messages.
- Color contrast, reduced-motion support where implemented, and keyboard-accessible navigation and controls.
- Accessibility consideration during new content and service development, followed by remediation when barriers are found.
Known limitations
Some older PDF, office-document, scanned, map, or third-party content may not yet be fully accessible. Some media may not yet include captions, transcripts, or complete descriptions. We are working to improve priority public-service content and can provide a reasonable alternative when practicable.
Request help or report a barrier
Tell us the page or document address, what you were trying to do, the barrier you encountered, and your preferred way to receive the information. You do not need to disclose a disability. We will route the report to the appropriate office and work to provide an accessible alternative or correction when practicable.
