What cookies are
Cookies are small text records that a website asks a browser to store and return. This website currently uses first-party cookies for security, session functions, and an aggregate homepage visitor count. It does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
Cookies used by this website
- csrftoken: helps prevent forged form submissions. It is a first-party security cookie and normally lasts up to one year.
- sessionid: connects requests to a server-side session when a feature needs one, such as sign-in, messages, or abuse prevention. It normally lasts up to one day, subject to browser and account settings.
- lgu_visitor_counted: contains only the value “1” so the same browser is counted once per year. It is HTTP-only, lasts one year, and is not used to identify or track a person across websites.
Browser memory and embedded services
The public municipal assistant keeps the visible conversation only in the current page's memory and clears it when the page is reloaded. The website does not use browser local storage for that conversation.
A linked or embedded service operated by another organization may use its own cookies after you open or interact with it. Review that service's notice before providing information.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the security or session cookies may prevent forms, sign-in, and other interactive services from working correctly. Deleting the visitor-count cookie may cause the same browser to be counted again, but will not reveal your identity.
If optional analytics or other non-essential cookies are introduced later, this notice and any consent controls will be updated before those cookies are used where consent is required.
